On the Road in The Prairies & Rockies

I LOVE getting up early especially when there are pictures to be taken in the glowing morning sun!!!! I was rewarded this morning in Saskatchewan. :)

The Rockies are back in sight!

Highest pass open all year round in BC or Canada?!

My friends took me hiking in The Rockies! A 360 degree view awaited us. It was breath taking! Wild flowers are only out two months of the year and we were there to treasure see them!

Hard Work Never Felt Sooooo Good!

I spent a few weeks in Boundary Country looking after my cousin's girls and farm while he took his wife mountain goat hunting! I really, really, REALLY enjoyed being out in the country with work to do and a river to float down! It was pretty exciting around the farm!

My toast got sung to every morning! It was toasted in a Cinderella toaster that toasted a glass slipper into it and sang a little tune when the toast was ready!

Four black lab puppies arrived while I was on duty! I got to name this little guy Hudson!

Mouflon sheep! Some good looking rams! Got to fix a little electric fence that these guys kicked down.

Chicks hatched while I was there too! Got to see a chick hatch.... live... not on TV. A first for me! Trying to move this mother hen from the top of the hay stack to this coup was an adventure. They're awfully protective. She was flapping her wings trying to get at me... .but a plastic shovel kept her at bay. Barely.
