I went on a day sail with SALTS(Sail And Life Training Society - http://www.salts.ca/)in Victoria. Groups of youth go on 5 or 10 day voyages. Their mission is to develop the spiritual, relational, and physical potential of young people through sail training, shipboard life, and associated activities in a Christian environment.
My good friend works there and got me on one of their day sails for 3.5hrs. Everyone had a chance to participate hoisting sails and steering! I have never been sailing before and I had a great time.

Highest Mountains in the World!!

In order to fly into the capital city my friends and I drove to another city to take a flight down. I was blessed to be sitting on the right side of the plane to see K2 (biggest mtn under the wing)! FANTASTIC!!!!

K2 is to the right and the glacier you have to walk on to get to base camp is below on the left!

Last Day of School

Friday was my last day of school with my class. I don't think they really understood what was going on, but we took some time to have some fun! I was given these foam dinosaurs as a gift! We just started studying about dinosaurs so it was appropriate. They were learning that there are meat eaters and plant eaters. I found some stencils for them to trace more dinosaurs and they did a great job drawing plants for the dinosaurs to eat!
