Summer Fun

The last day of school was full of awards and water! Kids from each grade received awards for perfect attendance, Most Improved Student, and for being a Star Child.
After the awards, we played with water balloons, slide down a slip and slide and ate watermelon! What a day!



Teacher went out for lunch after parent teacher meetings! What a wonderful bunch of teachers! It's a lot of fun teaching with them!

Math Competition

After my kids are done with their Math work, they can play at the centers in the back of the room. On their own, my kids have started to have Math competitions! It's so fun to see them play together and learn!!!

Brushing an Egg

My Grade One class and I did an experiment! We soaked one egg (with drawn on teeth) in tea water over night. The next morning we brushed it with tooth paste! When it came clean the kids said it was magic!

Getting Out of Town!

Relaxing and climbing boulders with friends! A lovely free feeling day! Ahhhhh

School Has Come to the Mountains

Remote Village Developement has provided tents, teachers and school supplies for these kids as their families are grazing their animals during the summer. Girls from this people group are going to school for the very first time!

The latest batch of cherries! In my house I can, jam and freeze cherries! I feel privileged to have access to fresh fruit and vegetables!
