The Rain In Spain - Part 1
It's been WAY too long since I've posted anything on here. I'm traveling again.... and to SPAIN of all places! Back in March I was praying for direction and the Leadership Development Course (LDC - not to be confused with LSD - lol) came to mind more than once. I looked into the LDC my friends are involved with in Spain and found out that the course was full. I felt strongly that I was supposed to pursue this, so at the advice of my friend I asked to be put on the waiting list. The timing seemed right as I wasn't going on a recruiting tour this spring. I knew it would be short notice if it actually happened, so I started making plans and gathering supplies to go. I applied, was accepted, and two weeks ago I was told there was a spot for me to attend. I've bought a ticket and I fly out the evening of Friday, April 26th!
The LDC is for people who have been leaders (with the company I've been with) for 4-5 years. The purpose is to disciple, mentor and help leaders lead within their strengths and giftings. I'm looking forward to learning along side the 20 other delegates from Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America. Even though I feel I've met a LOT of others doing like minded things, it'll be nice to know that other people/leaders have gone through some of the same struggling, wrestling, and even rejoicing!

Seasons of Life
Upon reflection of the last year I'm amazed at how much can happen and be learned! Wow!
This last year involved times of healing, rest, planning and going, travel, fun, grieving, reflecting on what really matters in life, health & joy!
Some wise speakers recently shared:
Seasons are a time frame allotted for something to happen until they fulfill their purpose. There is a reason for every season in our lives. His heart is that we embrace the season we're in. Don't run ahead and make Ishmaels. We are created to depend on Him. Embrace each season and live in the now. We suffer when we try to avoid the difficulty in our life. Faith is having unshakable confidence in the unchanging character of God.
Summer - Beauty, warm, holiday, rest, freedom, productivity, activity, young life, strength, fun, green pastures.
Autumn - A season of great influence. It's a season of great change, but great beauty.
Winter - On this side of heaven there is much we don't know. The greatest tests of our faith is to trust Him. It's a necessary part of maturity. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Things are revealed about Him (and about ourselves) that I wouldn't have learned any other way.
Spring - When He calls us to do something, He wants us to build well. Believe Him to do great things in my life. Don't take the meetings casually that happen around the world.

Rain and snow have gone for the day so I went romping around my favorite stomping grounds on a delightfully sunny day!
I just LOVE views next to a river! |
Can't believe we got a fabulous crisp day in December!!! One of my FAVORITE views! |
Just barely got the car pulled over for the sunset! :) I'm just in awe and feeling so blessed to be able to galavant and take in the sights! |
