Back in the Day!

While we've been on tour we've been sharing about many things, but we found youth really get into it when we talk about gross food! So... I talk about a five fingered meal called Beshbarmuck served in Central Asia! A sheep is butchered and every part is eaten/used. The stomach gets dried out and used to make butter!

It's pretty important to have them thoroughly cleaned!

Sheep is cooking on a dung fire! I'm chopping up liver in the back there for live sausage and the mom behind me is braiding intestines! It actually tasted really good... but only when it was warm. We ate the meat and brain with noodles with a cup of rich broth! Mmmm

We started off our trip with a service project in Kelowna. We swept a small (ish) parking lot & pulled weeds.

Youth With A Muscle! The sun is OUT too, so that just makes everything wonderful! :)
